If you want smoother frame rates and higher detail while running the full operation, aim at the recommended hardware. The jump from minimum to recommended is significant in both CPU and GPU.

Note that the recommended spec asks for Windows 11 64-bit while the minimum only requires Windows 10 64-bit. You can likely still run the game on Windows 10 with recommended-class hardware, but expect Early Access updates to be tuned primarily for Windows 11.

Both spec sheets share a few important details that are easy to overlook:

• Storage: 4 GB available space is required for both minimum and recommended. No SSD or HDD type is specified.
