Car Wash Simulator entered Early Access on Aug 10, 2026 at $11.69, developed by Majestic Twelve and published by Wildlands Interactive and New Disorder. The game is single-player only, with no co-op or multiplayer modes in the current build. If you are deciding whether to jump in now, the Early Access package already covers a full cleaning loop: taking jobs, applying vibrant active foams, racing the clock for extra tips, and buying or leasing new properties.

What is in the build right now:

  • Core car wash loop

    • complete quests, master advanced cleaning techniques, and beat the clock for bigger

    tips.

  • Property progression

    • buy or lease new locations to grow from a single local wash toward a larger operation.

  • 15 Steam achievements

    • including the full car wash operation course, first place in the

ICWA ranking, and the highest level of car wash expansion.

  • Side minigames

    • drifting competitions, trash throwing, target shooting, and

    Cyber Space Pong betting.

  • Shady side content

    • high-paying jobs, courier deliveries, and secret backroom plantations tied to

    achievements like "Master grower".

  • Quality of life features-Save Anytime,Custom Volume Controls, and Steam Family Sharing all work in the Early Access version.

A demo is available, which is useful for testing performance before buying. The minimum spec asks for a GTX 1070 or RX 6600 with 4 GB RAM, while the recommended spec is an RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT with 16 GB RAM.

Buying Early Access at $11.69 locks you into the current price point. If the roadmap later expands the empire systems significantly, the price may rise, so the Early Access period is the cheapest entry window.

Planned features

The Early Access pitch centers on one promise:

Build a local car wash into a massive detailing empire!

That sentence is effectively the roadmap in miniature. The current build provides the foundation, and the planned direction is about expanding every system outward. Nothing has been locked to a specific update date, but the features already in the game make the roadmap priorities clear.

What the roadmap direction implies:

  • Bigger property network

    • the buy and lease system is already in place, so future updates should add more locations, larger facilities, and deeper property upgrades as the empire grows.

  • More cleaning depth

    • advanced techniques and active foams are the current toolkit, so expect new equipment, chemical types, and tougher jobs that test them.

  • Expanded minigame roster

    • drifting, trash throwing, target shooting, and Cyber Space Pong already exist, and the achievement list hints at more competitive and betting-based content.

  • Deeper clean versus shady path

    • the game explicitly offers a choice between playing it clean and risking everything on

high-paying shady deals. Courier deliveries and backroom plantations are the first steps down that path, so later updates should extend both branches.

  • More achievements

    • with 15 at launch, including "Perfect Car Wash" and "First place in the ICWA ranking," the ranking and expansion systems are clearly meant to grow over time.

If you want the intended progression, complete the entire car wash operation course first. Achievements like "Completed car wash course" unlock through the tutorial-style quests, and they give you the cleaning fundamentals before the empire systems open up.

Because this is a simulation Early Access title rather than a story-driven game, content updates should land as playable features rather than narrative beats. Watch for new properties and side jobs, since those are the systems the current build already supports.

Developer communication

Majestic Twelve is the developer, with Wildlands Interactive and New Disorder handling publishing duties. For an Early Access game, the main channels are the Steam store page announcements and the Steam community hub, where patch notes, roadmap posts, and update previews typically appear.

How to stay on top of the roadmap:

  • Check the Steam announcements tab on the store page before each patch, since that is where the team posts update notes and schedule changes.

  • Visit the community hub for developer threads and pinned feedback posts. Early Access direction often changes based on player reports.

  • Play the demo and report performance issues. The minimum and recommended specs are close together, so optimization feedback matters.

  • Watch the achievement list for additions. When a roadmap update adds content, new achievements usually arrive with it.

The game supports Save Anytime, so you can put a session down mid-route and return when a new update drops without losing progress. That makes it easy to test each patch as it arrives.

Before you commit to the long game, confirm that your machine handles the active foam effects, since they are the most visually intense part of the cleaning loop. The recommended spec targets an RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT with 16 GB RAM, while the minimum is a GTX 1070 or RX 6600 with 4 GB RAM.
